For the past 3 years I have used the OpenETC instance of Mattermost as a course hub for a Masters level course at Royal Roads University I facilitate.
In a blog post I outlined some of the reasons why I wanted to use Mattermost as a class hub, how I prepared the learners for a new environment, and how I contributed back some of the documentation to the OpenETC for others to use.
